Hover Drop-down Sticky in Opera, Flickers in Firefox

The dropdown navigation on this page is based on Tony Aslett's Light Weight Multi Level Menu. The Javascript required to fix Internet Explorer is missing in this demo. Even with the script, IE5 Mac only displays the top line but I haven't pursued a fix. Safari (needs version 1.2.1),  seems to be working fine.

Problem with Opera

It works in Opera (I'm using Version 7.23 build 3227 on WinXP) if you move the cursor off to the side of the dropped-down part, but if the cursor travels via the top of the menu  the "unhover" doesn't happen, and the dropdown stays visible. When one menu is stuck open other menus may stay closed, or stick open simultaneously.

Problem with Mozilla

On my primary monitor (1280 x 1024 LCD), both  Mozilla Firefox (version 0.8 on Win XP) and Netscape7.1 handle the hover flawlessly. However, when I drag the window to my second monitor (800 x 600 VGA - NB: same computer, same browser) the hovered menu flickers on and off so badly it becomes unusable.

Info thanks to Aaron Brosam:
The transient nature of hover on a secondary monitor when it is on the left is a known bug in Firefox.
